Katt joined the team at DCAC in August 2020. As the Bilingual Community Connector she forms partnerships with organizations across Denver and Colorado in order to streamline resources for Colorado’s immigrant population. She also supports DCAC with Victim Advocacy and the intake process. Prior to coming to DCAC she worked as a 1st grade teacher in Piedras Negras, Mexico at Instituto Lazaro Cardenas. In Denver, she spent 9 years teaching Kindergarten and Preschool in dual language and immersion schools throughout East Denver and the Highlands. Katt returns to Mexico yearly and serves on the Board of Directors for Instituto Lazaro Cardenas. She is so excited to be a part of DCAC’s work serving children, families, and immigrants throughout Denver.
