What is Friends of DCAC?

Friends of DCAC is a group of dedicated individuals volunteering their time to inspire, educate, and expand the reach of Denver Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC). As a Friend, you play a crucial role in creating positive change for children who need it most.

Inspire Support: Be a beacon of inspiration! Engage with your community or garner support for a cause. Your passion can ignite the spark for change. 

Educate Others: Share our story. As a Friend of DCAC, you’ll help educate people about the vital work we do, raising awareness about child advocacy issues. 

Expand Our Reach: Help us grow! Contribute to incrasing out geographical footprint, ensuring more children receive the care and support they deserve.

Friends can actively contribute to DCAC's mission in various ways:

Fundraising: Participate in DCAC fundraisers, host 3rd party events, and encourage others to support our cause.

Event Planning: Contribute your creativity and organizational skills to plan and execute events that support our fundraising and awareness goals.

Community Outreach: Volunteer at tabling events to build more personal relationships with people and to be visible in our neighborhood. We participate in many community activities to help families connect with local resources, build relationships with other organizations, and promote DCAC services.

Group Support: Assist outreach staff at Garden Club or Art Group and help us connect with our kids and serve as positive role models. The outreach staff is positive role models. The outreach staff is essential in organizing activities for children and clients to create a secure environment for healthy nutrition, self-expression, and savoring childhood.

Ambassadors of DCAC: Spread the word! Be our ambassadors in the community, championing the importance of child advocacy. Share your passion by speaking at events or groups, and raising awareness about child abuse prevention and the impact of DCAC.

Recruitment: Actively recruit potential new members for Friends of DCAC, extending the reach of our community impact.

Attendance: Attend Friends of DCAC’s quarterly meetings, contributing your insights and staying updated on our collective progress.
