Yovana joined the Community Outreach team in August of 2025. She received her Master’s degree in Applied Child and Adolescent Development, with a concentration in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Denver in Psychology and Sociology. Prior to working at DCAC, Yovana worked as a researcher conducting studies both local and national, focused on child outcomes that attended a local HeadStart center in the Denver Metro area. Yovana has a strong background in data analysis and program implementation. Currently, Yovana provides mental health services to students, staff and families enrolled in the Adams County Head Start program. Yovana is passionate in helping families and teachers support young children’s socio-emotional development.
