Emily is a certified forensic interviewer with a diverse professional background, working with children of all ages in educational and legal settings. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a certificate in Care, Health and Resilience. Emily comes to DCAC with 3 years of experience in victim advocacy, working at two District Attorney’s Offices in Massachusetts. In her time as an advocate, she worked with survivors and witnesses involved in various criminal cases and later specialized in leading multidisciplinary team collaboration on cases regarding youth exploitation. In April of 2025, she achieved her goal of becoming a child forensic interviewer. Emily brings a strong passion for trauma informed practices, healing, and education surrounding this field.
