Ashley Khan

Bilingual Child and Family Therapist

Ashley Khan joined DCAC as a Bilingual Child and Family Therapist in July 2024. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned her Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and her Bachelor’s degree in the Teaching of Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Ashley moved to Denver in 2023 and is grateful to support children and families in the community. Ashley provides therapy in both English and Spanish and enjoys working alongside children, adolescents, and caregivers as they heal from trauma and strengthen relationships. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) as a rostered provider, Synergetic Play Therapy, Problematic Sexual Behavior–Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT) for school-aged children, and EMDR therapy. Ashley’s clinical approach is attachment-based, culturally responsive, playful, creative, and collaborative. She believes some of the best healing happens through connection, curiosity, and play—and that therapy should be a place where kids feel excited to come each week (#TherapyIsCool). Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time in nature with her dog Cleo, painting, pottery, and discovering new live music.
