Angel Gudeman

Bilingual Forensic Interviewer

Angel joined the Denver Children’s Advocacy Center as a bilingual forensic interviewer in 2021. Originally from Madrid, Spain, she relocated to the United States to pursue a degree in Sociology and Criminology. During her studies, she gained diverse experience through federal law enforcement internships and non-profit work focused on anti-human trafficking. She has worked internationally in the Dominican Republic, assisting in undercover child sex trafficking investigations, enhancing national law enforcement training, and providing translation support. Before joining DCAC, Angel worked as an intake caseworker with the Denver Department of Human Services, where she specialized in sexual abuse cases. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Neuroscience and Trauma. Her special areas of interests include interviewing survivors of human trafficking & commercial sexual exploitation, pursuing excellence and best practices in bilingual interviewing for Spanish speaking kids, examining the effects of trauma on memory, and exploring the spiritual impacts of abuse within faith-based contexts.
