Summer at DCAC: Healing Through Creativity, Adventure, and Play

Healing doesn’t only happen in a therapy room. Sometimes it happens while painting a picture, cheering at a baseball game, building a bridge from everyday materials, or laughing alongside new friends.
This summer, Denver Children’s Advocacy Center’s Kids Groups have been creating opportunities for children to build confidence, express themselves, and simply enjoy being kids in safe, supportive environments.

With school in full swing, most of DCAC’s Youth Clubs have wrapped up their time together. Art, Adventure Kids, and Boys clubs all took place weekly for 8 weeks throughout the summer.
