Yimalisse Nazario

Yimalisse joined DCAC as a Bilingual Child and Family Therapist in 2023. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Florida and is working towards her licensure in Colorado. Yimalisse received her Master’s in Social Work in 2017 at the University of Denver and worked at SafeHouse Denver providing counseling services for survivors of intimate partner violence during her time in Colorado. Yimalisse provided teen dating violence prevention education at Women in Distress In Florida, and was a Youth Therapist at Henderson Behavioral Health working with children and families on a wide range of concerns such as abuse, parenting, behavioral challenges, violence in the home, and mental health. Her approach is non-judgmental, trauma informed, and client centered. Yimalisse is happy to be back in Colorado to continue working alongside children and families on their journey towards healing.
