Daniela is a child and family therapist and early childhood mental health consultant who works with English and Spanish speakers. Daniela is a Licensed Professional Counselor, she obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from University of Northern Colorado and completed her undergraduate education in her home state of California where she attended California State University Stanislaus and received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. During her undergraduate and graduate experience, Daniela worked with children and adolescents from diverse cultural backgrounds at schools as well as medical and mental health centers where she facilitated preventative groups focused on different dimensions of wellness. Pursuing her passion for working with children and youth, Daniela’s graduate clinical experience included counseling children, adolescents, and families whom have been trauma survivors. Daniela is culturally competent and versatile in her style of counseling; children and adolescents enjoy her incorporation of play, art, and music in therapy.
