Clase de resiliencia (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.):

 ¿Como se desarrolla?

¿Cuál es el papel de los padres, las familias, los centros de cuidado infantil, proveedores de cuidado de niños en el hogar y de toda la comunidad?

 ¿Que podemos hacer para que nuestra comunidad sea mas resiliente?

Diálogo comunitario (12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.):

Por la tarde, tendremos una conversación comunitaria sobre necesidades y recursos relacionados con niños pequeños y familias en el Suroesta de Denver. Esta es una oportunidad para que todo los miembros de la comunidad comparatan sus ideas y sueños y nos ayuden a dar forma al trabajo de LAUNCH Together en la Suroeste de Denver.

Dr. Gizane Indart
Angela Davidson

Dr. Gizane Indart

Gizane is a bilingual and bicultural professional who has worked with traumatized children and their families since the early 1990s. Gizane is a ChildTrauma fellow at the ChildTrauma Academy under the direction of Dr. Bruce Perry. She speaks locally, nationally and internationally on the impact of abuse and neglect in early development, attachment difficulties in children exposed to maltreatment, and sexualized behaviors in children. Gizane is a member of the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect, the Advisory Counsel for the Colorado Coalition of Adoptive Families, and the Florence Crittenton Board of Directors.

Angela Davidson

Angela is a bilingual, bicultural therapist who has worked with traumatized children and their families since 1999. Special areas of interest for Angela are: early childhood development, the impact of trauma on the developing child and the effects of immigration on young children. At DCAC, Angela has played a major role in supporting the growth of DCAC's Spanish-speaking caseload. She has been a lead player in the development and expansion of the successful prevention program, Denver Safe from the Start, which focuses on high-risk children ages 3-8 and their families. Angela has been instrumental in the growth of DCAC’s community outreach mental health initiative.
