Contribute financially. DCAC relies on grants and donations in order to provide no-cost assessment and treatment services to children in need. We need your help.
As you consider how much to give, here are a few examples of what your gift will provide:
- $35: one hour of group therapy
- $55: one hour of crisis intervention and management
- $65: one hour of case management
- $75: one hour of individual therapy in English or Spanish
- $75: one hour of clinical assessment
- $90: one hour of caregiver-child or family therapy
- $115: one hour of forensic interviewing in English
- $160: one hour of forensic interviewing in Spanish
- $650: complete clinical assessment of traumatized child with treatment recommendations
Every dollar you donate provides services now. That dollar is an investment in a child's future and every life they touch. What an impact!

Donate used clothing and items. Clean out your closet, and then donate your used clothing at one of the many Drop Boxes in the Denver Metro Area. Other reusable goods (furniture, toys, infant items, kitchenware, electronics, sporting equipment and more) can be donated at the Attended Donation Centers located in Thornton and Parker, or directly at your local Savers store. The drop-box program generates vital sustainable income for DCAC's programs from the sale of donated clothing to Savers thrift stores. DCAC currently has 65 drop boxes throughout the Denver metro area and is looking for more locations. Donors can also take clothing into any Savers store.
The Advocacy Center Foundation ("ACF"), a related 501(c)(3) organization, also accepts donated clothing and items in certain parts of Colorado. The ACF uses the proceeds from such donations to support DCAC and other Colorado organizations helping abused children by funding training programs, legislative advocacy and collaborative prevention, treatment and forensic interviewing efforts.
