Clean out your closets and make a difference in a child's life by simply donating your gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, and bed and bath linens at one of our many Drop Boxes throughout Colorado: from Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs and beyond! Other reusable goods (furniture, toys, infant items, kitchenware, electronics, sporting equipment and more) can be donated directly at your local Savers store.
The Drop Box program generates vital sustainable income for DCAC's programs through the sale of donated clothing and household items to Savers thrift stores, income which exceeded $150,000 in 2012. Donations are tax deductible (click here for a tax receipt) and a great way to support the mission of DCAC.
Currently there are a growing number of Drop Boxes in Colorado, locations made possible through the kind sponsorship of retailers such as Wal-Mart, Ace Hardware, Regency Centers, Jenny’s Market, Texaco, Albertson’s Walgreens, Conoco, The Home Depot, Circle K, Safeway, King Soopers, Grease Monkey, Hobby Lobby, and many others. More sponsors are always needed –if you have the space to accommodate a drop box, please contact Pat Federico at 720-775-3485.
